Board of Directors

Serves as the chief executive officer, presiding over meetings and acting as the official representative of the club. They provide strategic leadership and ensure all club activities align with our mission and bylaws.

Coordinates all club-sanctioned racing events, regattas, and scoring logistics. They promote competitive sailing while ensuring all races are conducted safely and according to regulation.

Responsible for maintaining the club’s official records, including meeting minutes and the membership roster. They manage all formal correspondence to keep the membership informed and the club in compliance.

Serves as a senior advisor to the board, providing historical perspective and continuity to ensure smooth transitions between leadership cycles. They often chair the nominating committee and offer mentorship to the current Commodore to help maintain the long-term stability of the club.

Supports the Commodore in administrative duties and assumes leadership in their absence. This role often focuses on internal club management and coordinating major seasonal events.

Oversees the sailing instructional programs for both junior and adult participants. This role manages curriculum and instructor coordination to foster a love of sailing in our community.

Executes specific, high-impact initiatives and infrastructure improvements in coordination with the Rear Commodore. This role is dedicated to managing unique tasks that enhance the club’s physical assets and member experience.

Oversees the club’s waterfront infrastructure, including the docks, yard, and related facilities. They ensure that the physical grounds are safe and well-maintained for all boating activities.

Manages the club’s overall financial health, including budget development, dues collection, and fiscal reporting. They work closely with the board to ensure the long-term financial stability of the organization.

Focuses on the financial tracking of clubhouse-specific operations, such as the bar and kitchen. They work in tandem with the Treasurer to ensure detailed oversight of the facility’s internal revenue.
